We are excited to be hiring a part-time *Residential Clinician *for one of our residential settings in Rumford. This position provides clinical services to residents, as well as clinical supervision and consultation to residential staff. This position is 20 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the residents, including some evenings and weekend coverage. 

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates clinical program activities, including co-facilitating clinical group supervision with our other residential programs
  • Ensures programs are meeting the needs of the community through continual assessment of programs effectiveness and access for clients
  • Provides clinical leadership by contributing to the achievement of program and client goals, as well as participation in program development and implementation of program changes
  • Complete typical clinician responsibilities such as accurate and timely documentation, manage referrals, maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with other providers and community partners, and providing a safe environment for all (clients and staff)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related Human Services field is required
  • Holds a valid State of Maine license to practice at the independent level (LCSW, LCPC)
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary, clinical team environment
  • Experience in and understanding of contemporary issues in behavioral health service delivery related to care integration and the affordable health care system

Other Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, including accurate documentation skills; experience and competency working with an electronic health record; maintain compliance with handling information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA); Pre-employment background checks: Maine Background Check Center (SBI, Direct Care Worker Registry, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, fraud, and federal debarment), DHHS- Child and Adult Protective, and DMV must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of continued employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
