Operate CNC Machines to effectively produce parts within manufacturing specification within allotted time standards with minimal supervision in a fast-paced job shop environment.
The Shop Technician is responsible for the day to day machine maintenance and shop needs.
Areas of Responsibility
• Performs operation of assigned CNC machines
• Inspects and documents all operations per procedure
• Manage cutting chips for recycling pickup
• Assist in performing routine machine maintenance such as coolant filters, air filters, etc.
• Assist with other various shop duties as needed
• Shipping and Receiving duties as needed
Requirements
Skills, Experience & Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills benificial

• Maintains a positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with peers and management in a team-oriented environment with willingness to work overtime when needed to satisfy customer requirements
