We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Clinical Therapist to join the NOE team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health care and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services. The outpatient therapist will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. You will have the availability to work with patients both in-person and virtually through telehealth.
Clinical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Work with adults and/or children, establishing rapport, orchestrating appropriate treatment plans and networking with other providers to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Assess the mental and behavioral health status of the client, formulate short-term and long-term counseling plans by identifying the needs of the individual.
- Maintain and complete accurate client files according to agency policies, procedures and in compliance with applicable law, licensing, contracting, Maine Care regulations, consent decree and Rights of Recipients
- Maintain appropriate boundaries per policies and procedures.
- Ensure services are provided to clients in a manner consistent with trauma-informed practices, emphasizing strengths, privacy, individuality, choice and cultural differences
- Provide ethical services by maintaining professional relationships with the client and by working with the case manager
- Fully participate in required supervisions and trainings by coming prepared, actively engaging, and documenting as required
- Independently and effectively manage caseload, meetings, and office time for completion of required paperwork
Clinical Therapist Requirements:
- Must have Master's degree and be fully licensed LCSW or LCPC in the State of Maine
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom and other video conferencing software
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team, maintain professionalism and ethical standards, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Work in the Bangor office and the potential of some work from home opportunities after the initial 90-day employment period. We offer telehealth services as well.
Requirements
Must have Masters Degree and current LCSW or LCPC licensure in the state of Maine
