Oxford Federal Credit Union is in search of a Part-time *Teller (30 hours a week ) *to join our team in Mexico, Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a financially strong, community oriented, member owned financial cooperative providing financial services to anyone who lives or works in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset and York county, Maine . The successful candidate will consistently provide exceptional, personalized, professional, confidential service to credit union members by accurately assisting them in the completion of a variety of financial transactions. Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome members and guests; provide top-notch information concerning products and services; and makes referrals to appropriate areas or business partners.

Complete and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and other related transactions.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services.

Service accounts and/or maintains member records by completing required documentation.

Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

External and internal applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions of the job either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodations

Requirements

Must have a high school education or equivalent and up to six months of similar or related experience.

  • Strong keyboarding skills and the ability to operate a calculator.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality.
  • Good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
  • Ability to handle and monitor multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good listening and telephone skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products.
  • Working knowledge of regulations relating to all credit union deposit and electronic products.
